Return and Refund Policy

At Smell of Dubai, we strive to provide high-quality products to our customers. However, we understand that there may be instances where you need to return a product. Please read the following policy to understand our return and refund process.


Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. After this period, we will no longer accept returns or exchanges.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The product must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it. This means the item must not be used, with its original tags, seals, and packaging intact.

  2. Opened and Used Products: If the product has been opened and used, returns will not be accepted unless the product is defective or damaged upon arrival (see "Damages and Issues" below).

  3. Return Shipping: The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. We will provide return instructions once your return request is approved. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  4. Proof of Purchase: You will need to provide proof of purchase (e.g., order number or receipt) when requesting a return.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain products are not eligible for return under any circumstances, including:

  • Opened or Used Perfumes (unless defective or damaged, as stated below)
  • Opened Perfume Oils (unless defective or damaged)
  • Gift Cards
  • Sale or Discounted Items

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the product is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at smellofdubai1@gmail.com.

If the product is found to be defective after it has been opened and used, we will review the situation upon receiving the return. If the defect or damage is confirmed, we will either:

  • Offer a full refund to your original payment method.
  • Send you a replacement product, based on your preference.

All defective items will be inspected to ensure the claim is valid.

Return Process

To start a return, you must contact us at smellofdubai1@gmail.com with your order details and the reason for your return. Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how to send the item back to the following address:

You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. If your return is accepted, we will notify you via email with instructions on how and where to send your package.

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Exchanges

We do not process exchanges directly. If you would like to exchange an item, you can return the original item following the process outlined above, and then place a new order for the desired item.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved or rejected. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you have not received it, please contact us at smellofdubai1@gmail.com.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As with our general return policy, the item must be in the same condition that you received it: unopened, unused, with original packaging and tags.

Shipping Costs

For all returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees. We do not refund the original shipping charges unless the product was defective or damaged upon arrival.


Important Considerations

  1. Refund Denial: If the item returned does not meet the eligibility criteria (e.g., opened, used without valid defect claim), we reserve the right to reject the return and will notify you of this decision. The item will be sent back to you at your cost if you request it.

  2. Inspection: All returned items will undergo an inspection process to determine their condition. If the item is determined to be ineligible for return based on our policy, we will contact you with the decision.

  3. Product Defects After Use: If a product becomes defective after use (e.g., deactivation or malfunction), we will review the defect claim after receiving the item back. In such cases, we may offer a refund or replacement if the defect is confirmed.
